Biography

My strengths lie in my wealth of experience gained over years in the health club industry, and in the diversity of my interests and hobbies. I'm passionate about keeping up with new training ideas, exercises, equipment and accessories and it helps that I find the endless information on weight loss and the latest diets fascinating and a joy to read.

My well rounded knowledge of training methods in general benefits a large segment of club users and encourages me to listen to their needs, making each training session interesting but challenging.

My qualifications include the City and Guilds Sport and Recreation Levels 1-3; National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer; Royal Society of Arts Exercise to Music and Radical Training Top Ride Indoor Cycling.

I believe in walking the walk so I subject my body to high intensity training six days a week and have recently resumed classes in Iyengar Yoga twice a week, a discipline I practised for four years before my move to Australia.

Biography

I've always felt if you're going to do something, you should do it well and I have applied that philosophy to my career in the fitness industry and in my personal athletic activities.

I am qualified in Exercise and Sports Science, majoring in Nutrition; Certificate 3 and 4 Sport and Recreation; Sports Trainer Level 1; Athletics Coaching; and Senior First Aid.

My extracurricular activities include competitive running, specifically 200 - 800m sprinting for UWA and WA; Competitive Surf Life-Saving; and Beach Sprinting for Trigg SLSC. I also surf, run, and play netball and football.

My lifestyle gives me the ideal background and experience to excel in my specialties of Weight Loss; Abdominal and Core work; Sport Specific Training and Strength programs; and Bootcamp and Outdoor Training.
